I'm back!

I packed last night so I wouldn't be in such a hurry this morning. Jenn made french toast for us. I got my postcards ready to send and I got my bags near the door. The 2 kids ran towards us to give us big hugs before we left to go to the door. It was sweet. Especially since Olivia, 1, runs as fast as she can into your arms for a big hug. She then gives you a big ol' wet kiss. And then right before we left Max, 4, yells from downstairs saying that he wants to say good-bye one last time. I'm glad I got to end my visit like that. I have to admit, it was very heart warming and I'm definitely going to miss all them very much.

Since we hadn't ridden a double decker bus the entire trip, we took the bus to the Underground. We arrived at the Underground around 10:40AM. We found the station very easily. It had seemed that we mastered the Underground the last day we were there. Too bad. Once we arrived to the station I wasn't allowed to go to the waiting area inside the Eurostar lobby until 11:30AM and it was only 11:05AM. So I walked around and used up all the change I had. I got myself a sandwich and some candy. When it finally reached 11:30AM I went to the line to get through. The passport check took less than 2 minutes.

When I finally got to the waiting area I looked at the screen to see if the train was on time. Since I was there at 11:30AM I knew I was going to have to wait for 45 minutes until I could board the train since it was leaving at 12:37PM, or so I thought. The train was actually departing at 12:57PM so that meant I had to wait for one hour. I just sat there and read the English newspaper and ate my food.

When I was finally in the train, all I did was relax. I fell asleep and then woke up right when we were getting near Lille Europe, the stop I had to get off at. On the train, the controller said that we were nearing Brussels. The train's last stop was Brussels and it stopped in Lille Europe on its way there. So when I heard that we were nearing Brussels I though I had slept through my stop! I checked the time on my ticket and the local time, yet everything seemed just right. A few minutes later, the controller corrected himself saying we were actually arriving in Lille Europe, not Brussels. I was relieved!

Once I got off the train I went to go find Caroline. Rose and Caro came to get us and I was very happy to see them again. When we got home, Sean said he wanted to return his jersey that he had purchased the last time we were here. So Sean, Rose, Gab, and I went out to return the jersey. While we were out, we went to a few other stores and just walked around. After a few hours of looking around and chatting with the cousins, we all went back home. Then when we got home Sean, Rose, Gab and I all got ready to go to InQuest again. We quickly ate the pizza Rose had burned for us and we were then out the door. Marg had begun working at InQuest today. It was her very first day on the job. Once we got in, we were all pumped. It was even better than the last time. I had a great time and so did everybody else.

After the InQuest, everybody went home and just sat in front of the TV and relaxed. Tomorrow, the South of France!

I really love reading all your updates. The kids in your British family sound adorable, I can't wait to see pictures. I am glad London turned out to be such a great visit.

You must be happy to see the family again. Give them all lots of hugs and kisses for me. I am jealous you get to go to the beautiful South. Please give my love to the cousins!

You are becoming a pro at traveling. But, your mom is NOT quite a pro at commenting.

He He. I couldn't resist.

Big ol' "Shania!" on Rose for the pizza.

Have fun in the land of lavender!
