So today was lots of fun. We didn't do much but besides it being a relaxed day I still enjoyed it.
This morning I woke up a little late (12:00). I got cleaned up and then I had lunch with the family. Rose went to Euro Disney with some friends for the day so she wasn't there and neither was Marg but I didn't know where she was. After lunch, Gab went to a friends house while Sean, Caro, and I went to Lille to shop at the LOSC store. Unfortunently for us, the one day we go it is, off course, closed for inventory checking. DARN! So then we went to Footlocker and saw these cool shirts so we bought some and then went to another store to look around and I bought a nice, casual, long-sleeve shirt from this store called Pull and Bear. It was an alright store.
Right before Pull and Bear, Sean and I went in our own direction while Caro did some little shopping here and there. We then met up an hour later around 5:30 so we could go home. The metro was packed!
Once we got home, we all just laid around. We had dinner and talked about the plans for tomorrow. We planned on first going to the LOSC store, of course. Then we are going to this place called "La Quest". Christophe's work created the video that explains what you must do in "La Quest". It's very similar to a ropes course but indoor. You are on teams and just do lots of fun things. I think it will be very cool and I will definently explain better what it's like tomorrow once I have done it! After dinner, Gab, Sean, and I went outside to play badminton
and it was fun. Then we all just laid in front of the TV and watched some different things.
Overall, to some people today might have not been a lot of fun but to me it was very enjoyable. Can't wait till tomorrow!

Lille day 2!
This morning we woke up at 11. I slept very well! I got some breakfast and got ready for the day. Around 2 the entire family began coming over to the house for lunch. At first, Florence came. I was very happy to see her! Then Guillome came and I could sort of remember him but not very well. He's very nice! Then Grandepere et Mamy came. I was glad I got to see them since I hadn't seen them for so long! I still remember when Grandepere used to give me the little soaps! We all sat down and chatted. After a little while, Fred and Morgan came along with Morgan's boyfriend. I could remember Morgan! Or at least her face! Good enough.
We all had lunch together and it was very pleasant. The food was delicious! It was nice to catch up with all the cousins, aunt, and uncles. I'm very happy I'm here! We all went outside after the lunch. We sat outside, played with a football and just hung out. After some time, Max and Mathilde came. It could remember them too! It was nice to see them! I talked with Mathilde and Max for some time.

After talking and catching up some more, we started playing le foot. It was me and Sean (Etats-Unis) and Christophe, Max, Morgan's boyfriend, and Fred (France). It was lots of fun. At the end it was only Max and Gab against Me and Sean. We were ready to end it and go in but we said "last goal wins". Max scored a goal off the post (play scape post) and won! It was lots of fun. After that everybody began to leave. Flo, Fred, Max, Guillome, Mathilde, and Morgan. I'm so happy I got to see them all!
Today was a lot of fun! Now Rose, Gab, Vic, Marg, and I are all watching FRIENDS en Français. It's not as funny as the English version but it's still FRIENDS! And then Sean, he can't really understand le Français so he is in bed taking a nap.
Later tonight we are going to watch the Euro 2008 between Espagne et Allemagne. It should be interesting!

Espagne wins! I was hoping they would! YES! I personally don't like Torres (the player who scored the only goal in the game) but still! They won! 1-0!

Lille!
I am in Lille! I arrived yesterday (Saturday) with Sean at the train station. We were at the train station 45 minutes earily and waited. When the train came we got on and we were on our way to Lille! When we arrived we were met by Victoire who went there on her own. We then saw Rose and Caro waiting for us with a big smile. I was very happy to see them. We then met up with Christophe outside in the car. Then, we headed home.
We got to their house and settled in. I love their house. It's so nice! We had lunch when we got there and then we looked around the house. Right before lunch, Margoux came home and it was nice to see her! After lunch, Sean and I played le foot in their large yard for a few minutes. We ended up falling asleep for a little bit afterwards because we were just so tired. When we woke up later, I went downstairs and saw Fred sitting down in the kitchen. We talked for a while and caught up on things. It was nice to see him.
After talking to him, Fred took Me, Sean, Gab (after he came home from a party), and Rose to go see a movie. The movie was pretty good. Some of Rose's friends came too. When the movie was over we went home on the metro. We got home and everyone was gone. Caro and Christophe went to a party so no one was home. We all just fell asleep because we just couldn't stay up. It was a good first day in Lille!

Last day in Paris
Today, as you can read, was my last day in Paris. I'm not too happy. Clarisse left early in the morning so I am sad because of that too since I will not see her again before I leave for Lille. But the other reason I'm sad for leaving Paris is that the city has grown on to me. It is just such an amazing place to live and do things. Well the day started off with me and Sean going to the Gard du Nords to get our TGV tickets for Lille, our Eurostar tickets for London, and our RER tickets for le Chateux de Versailles. Once we got all our tickets we went back home to drop the tickets off and eat our lunch.
Once we were done, off we were to go see Versailles. What we had to do to get there was take a metro to the RER station. Then take the RER to another station to switch to the RER that took us to Versailles. Of course we missed the stop to switch to the Versailles train so we had to get off at the next one, jump the exit, run all the way outside and back into the station, jump the entance and climb aboard to get back to the correct station. This was all done while the train was pulling in. Sean and I, we are the kings of catching trains just in time (and occasionally missing them).

We finally got to Versailles and it was very nice. It wasn't as pretty as I thought it would be at first until I went in the back to see the beautiful gardens. They were gigantic! I couldn't believe it.

Once we had finished taking pictures and doing the touristy things, we left to go get a snack. We dropped by Micky D's to get a McFlurry and some fries. I have to mention one thing here; it was probably the FIRST Micky D's I had ever been to that had no hispanic people or people of hispanic origin that worked there.
After the food, Sean and I went to go see stuff at a football store. I got to touch a Lille jersey! I didn't buy it though because I want to buy mine from the LOSC store in Lille! OF COURSE! When we were done, we got back on the RER to to go to the one station where we switch trains. We almost missed the stop since we had both fallen asleep. We switched trains and went on our way to go to the station where the metro was. We weren't sure on which one to get off at until the last minute. When we tried to get off the door closed on us. We got off at the next station and luckily there was a metro station to take us home!
We did some stuff and waited for Mathilde to get home. When she got home we went to go see la Tour Eiffel at night. We split up at a station since she was going to go see a movie with some friends. Sean and I continued and we waited in line to get tickets so we could go onto la Tour Eiffel. While we were half way through the line, the electronic board said that the 3rd floor was closed. We were so mad! When we got to the 2nd floor we found out we could actually buy tickets to get to the 3rd floor here! SWEET! So we ended up getting the tickets and going to the top of la Tour Eiffel. When we got there, I cannot explain what went through my body and mind. It was just so amazing that a person needs to experience it for themselves to understand how great it is.

Looking down through this hole to the bottom.

If you look straight abover the big white building, there is a little white building.
(It's the same shade of white/yellow)
Well that building is Notre Dame.

While we were up there we took millions of pictures. It got dark, started sprinkling and the city lit up! It was b-e-a-utiful! I couldn't keep my finger off the trigger. Once we were done seeing and taking pictures of everything, we decided to go down. We stopped at the 2nd level to switch elevators. When we were at the 2nd level we went to a little store ON la Tour Eiffel and got some neat little souvenirs for us. We were starting to go to the line that led to the elevators going to ground level but we saw that it was just too long. So we decided to walk it down.
Our plan was to be down on the ground and in the lawn before midnight so we could get good pictures of la Tour Eiffel sparkling when it turned midnight. Unfortunently, when we stepped down two steps the lights began sparkling. Sean and I began raceing down to the bottom to get that one good picture.
This is where Sean and I are racing down to the bottom to get the picture we wanted.
I had to stop and get a random picture, of course.
It took me a whopping 4 1/2 minutes to go from the 2nd level to the ground level by stairs with Sean following behind. We are amazing. I took some pictures of la Tour Eiffel and also took some footage of la Tour sparkling. It's very pretty at night.
We made it! (You can sort of see the lights here and there lighting up.)
(You're probably thinking it's the same one as above but it's
not. It's a little different.)
Too close to La Tour Eiffel.

I don't think I have enough pictures of La Tour Eiffel.

Even though this picture might be crappy, I still like it because it's my last
picture with La Tour Eiffel. And what's even better is that I had no more available
memory on my camera after this picture.
After the wonderful Tour, we began walking to the station. On the way there we saw a drunk guy almost hit a guy with hit WINE bottle and in the metro stations, well there was just vomit everywhere. Every single platform we were at there was vomit. The funny thing was we pretty much followed the person from the trail of vomit to our station that we get off to go home. Funny but incredibly discusting. When we got home we just fell sleep.
I couldn't of asked for a better last night in Paris. I mean we climbed la Tour Eiffel to the very top at night. How great is that?! So now I am looking forward to what is next. I am SO excited to see everybody tomorrow. I cannot wait.
