Hot Brass

DIMANCHE: 13 Juillet

Today was a very relaxed day. Sean and I woke up around 11:00AM and had lunch with Marc, Françoise, Lorran and his wife Sylvie (Lorran is one of Françoise's twins). It was nice to talk to them. After lunch we all went to the pool for a long time. After the pool, Marc took me and Sean to the top of a hill where the village of Puy St. Reparade used to be before it was relocated on the bottom of the hill. It was absolutely beautiful. I took some pictures of the view and we kept going. Before we got too far, the fire fighters that keep an eye on the local forrest told us we had to go down. If it were the police that had caught us we would of been fined 135€ per person but luckily it was the fire fighters that had caught us.

After going back home, Sean and I got ready since Alan had called us to see if we wanted to go eat with his family and friends. We got ready and around 8:00PM Alan and his wife came to pick me and Sean up along with Alan's nephew. Alan was in his Porsche GT3 and on the way to the restaurant I got to ride in it and on the way back Sean got to ride in it. It was a really sweet car.

At the restaurant, Hot Brass, Sean and I played cards with the mother. We then had pizza as an appetizer and then we had veal with pasta which was delicious. The restaurant we went to was half restaurant and half club. The club was connected to the restaurant yet lots of people still danced at the restaurant since it is an outside restaurant with a bar and there was some music playing. What was also cool was that there was a pool in the center of the restaurant for the customers, even though nobody swam. After dessert, we all left around 12:45AM since it was very late. We went home and I said "Happy Birthday!" to Marc when I arrived since it was technically the 14th of July. Then, I passed out.

I am happy to see that you ate something besides (well, actually, along with) pizza!

Happy Birthday to Marc and to France!
